About RA Mom
I dedicate this blog first and foremost to God; the one that holds me in His arms, even when I don’t feel His presence; the one that stayed around when I deserted Him; the one that loves me unconditionally, no matter what I do!
I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis. I am a “thirty-something” , stay at home mom of two beautiful girls, Meagan 12 and Nikki 9. They brighten my days and are a true blessing from God. They are a constant help and are sensitive to “mommy and her needs”.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Tony, for 16 years and love him from the very depths of my heart. We met in high school, I was 14 and he was 16. We were married very young, at 19 and 21. I have the best husband in the world; I thank God for his constant love and support. He is a wonderful provider, care giver, father and husband; he is my ROCK! Our marriage, like most, has had it’s peaks and valleys. I am thankful for the lessons we’ve learned through each experience whether good or bad.
I was diagnosed with RA in October, 2004, then with Ankylosing Spondylits in 2007. Although I struggle daily with my chronic illnesses, I am truly blessed to have family and friends to help me through those days when I feel like giving up. My family is my strength; they listen to me cry and complain, but are still there in my times of need.
I praise God for the relationship I have with Him; He gets me through those valleys. I give my diseases to Him and pray that He will use my infirmities to bless the people in my life and the ones that may cross my path.
Welcome to my Blog; I hope to inform you of things you may not know about Rheumatoid Arthritis and to encourage you to make the most of every. May you be blessed the way I have.
I am diligent to pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ that they may become all God has called them to be. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30)

I’m so glad I’ve found someone on the same road as me!
