Confessions – 2004
Diagnosis of RA
In October 2004, I was having a hard time cleaning houses and felt so sad and tired all the time. Tony and I did a lot of arguing. He couldn’t understand what was going on with me, why all of a sudden I was so cranky and tired all the time. I went to the doctor, for what I thought was the flu, but left there with a diagnosis of Arthritis.
In the beginning I was told it was Osteoarthritis, but the blood tests showed it was actually Rheumatoid Arthritis. I couldn’t believe it! I spent weeks and weeks researching the disease, reading everything I could find on it. I was getting more and more depressed. The more depressed I got, the more I hurt and the worse I felt.
